Victoria's Secret Makeup Collection for Summer 2011, Pictures & Info

Victoria's Secret has recently released a new Collection of limited edition beauty items for summer. Victoria's Secret says "Dive into sexy with our new, limited-edition Wild Tropics collection." This Summer 2011 collection includes a baked mineral shadow quad to give skin a brightening touch, luminous cheek and face highlighters, lip shine, bronzing powder for lustrous dimensions and a bronzing brush.

Baked Mineral Shadow Quad ($15)- Baked mineral powders blend in a unique marbleized finish to give skin an instant, brightening touch of sun-kissed radiance"  Shades - exotic escape (Pink/Neutrals), Secluded Lagoon (teal/neutrals).
VS TIP: Wear it wet for a bold metallic look. Wear it dry for a soft, shimmering finish.

Luminous Cheek & Face Highlighter ($14) Lightweight, creamy formula blends effortlessly for soft highlights and luminous sheer color. Shades - Bronze Rays, Sea Shells.
VS TIP: For a sultry glow, apply directly to cheeks, chin or forehead and blend with fingertips.

Brilliant Lip Shine, L76 Rock Me, L72 Torrid, $10
VS TIP: Build to your desired level of shine and color by applying in light layers.

Baked Mineral Bronzing Powder ($16)- Brilliant, patent-finish gloss drenches lips with gleaming, shimmering color. Conditioning formula combines shine-rich polymers and light-reflecting pearls for lustrous dimension.
VS TIP: Sweep brush across bronzer, then apply to nose, cheeks and forehead and anywhere else you want a boost of color.

Bronzer Brush($12)- Silky, natural-hair brush designed for the ultimate bronzing application.
VS TIP: This brush is shaped to create the perfect “sun-kissed” effect. Swirl it over bronzer, tap off excess powder, then apply to cheeks, chin and forehead.

I did purchase a few items from last years summer collection, the bronzer and the eyeshadow quad, they look extremely similar to this years, except with different colors of course. So if these are anything like last years items, they were good quality and really pigmented. The bronzer is a good alternative to the mac mineralized bronzers.

Have you tried anything from this collection? If so what do you think? Leave a comment below and let us know.

Thanks for reading!
