Wet n Wild 8 Pan Eyeshadow Palette Swatches & Review

Wet n Wild recently released new 8 pan eyeshadow palettes. There are three palettes in this collection; Comfort Zone (bronzes, browns, olives, gold-toned shades), Petal Pusher (lilacs, cool toned browns, a wonderful black)and Blue Had Me At Hello (navy, teal, baby blue, blacks/grays).

I searched every store I knew that carried Wet n Wild for these, but only managed to find Comfort Zone. (Note: I just found the other two palettes!Click here for Blue Had Me At Hello and Petal Pusher) Fortunately, Comfort Zone was the palette I wanted the most. This palette also contains a dupe for mac blue-brown pigment, which I think is really unique and gorgeous. I had high expectations for this palette after purchasing the new Wet n Wild Color Icon trios. I already swatched and reviewed the trios, which you can view by clicking here. This palette is even better than I expected it to be. Dare I say it's better than the trios? Yes, I think is is.

The darker shades seem to be the most pigmented, but the light shades are very pigmented as well. I'm completely in love with Wet n Wild now. It's just insane how cheap their products are for the quality. I had recently purchased the Urban Decay Show Pony palette (which rings in at six times the cost of W&W)and that UD palette isn't half as good as this new Wet n Wild Palette - Maybe that shows you how great these are. All of these shadows are also super creamy and soft <3

Above swatches on bare skin, no primer used.

The first row on the left contains what appears to be a yellow cream shade. On my skin this shows up a pinkish, gold/champagne color. It's really pretty for a natural look. The next shade appears to be a champagne shade but shows up as a bronze with a heavy orange lean on my skin. The third shade is a dark bronze and it shows up pretty much the same on the skin as it appears in the pan. The bottom shade is a gorgeous, extremely deep brown with a kind of maroon shimmer(one of my favs in the palette!).

Second row starts off with an olive color with gold shimmer. On my skin it appears more golden with a light olive gleam. The second shade is a green with gold shimmer and it appears the exact same on the skin as it looks in the pan. The third color appears to be a blackened olive green with gold shimmer. On the skin it appears pretty similar, a dark brown/olive green with gold shimmer(another fav of mine). The final shade is a red-toned brown with a green duochrome(i love this one). This is also a dupe for MAC blue-brown pigment.

On the back of the palette there is a diagram of the eye with numbers to show where to place each shadow. They have numbered each shadow and tell you which numbers to combined for a sweet look, flirty look, dramatic look and a wild look. This is great for someone who doesn't know how to match colors very well such as a beginner to makeup or anyone who's short on time and doesn't want to think of which colors to pair together.

I absolutely love this palette. Expect a review on the other two as soon as I can find them.
These palettes are $4.99 and can be found at Walgreens.

*Update* So I've recently discovered that some of these colors fade like crazy. I've never had a shadow fade so badly even with a primer and base. Some are worse than others, but I have deduct a couple points from the score for this.
