Wet n Wild 8 Pan Eyeshadow Blue Had Me At Hello & Petal Pusher

Wet N Wild has released new 8 Pan eyeshadow Palettes in three different colors; Blue Had Me at Hello, Petal Pusher and Comfort Zone. I previously showed you guys Comfort Zone, but couldn't find the other two palettes. Click for Comfort Zone Swatches/Review Well... I'm excited to say, I finally found Petal Pusher & Blue Had Me At Hello!

Blue Had Me At Hello
Blue Had Me At Hello consists of light blues, dark blues, a teal blue and a couple black shades. This palette isn't as pigmented as Comfort Zone, but is more pigmented than the Petal Pusher Palette. My favorites in this palette are the medium toned pearly blue and the teal, which are also the most pigmented shades in this palette. The matte black shade isn't super pigmented, which disappointed me a little because this means it shows up more as a charcoal gray rather than a deep black, but perhaps with a black base it will show up darker. Keep in mind I always swatch everything on bare skin, no bases, so everyone can see exactly how pigmented everything is without the help of primers and bases.

The texture of the shadows in Blue Had Me At Hello is pretty nice, with the exception of the light, sprarkly blue, which I found to have a bit of a gritty texture due to the chunks of glitter, but it wasn't horrible. The texture of these shadows is about the same as the textures of the Petal Pusher Palette, but a little less creamy than the shadows in Comfort Zone.

Overall, I'd recommend Blue Had Me At Hello if you are looking for a pretty teal or pearly blue. If you are considering this palette for black and light blue, I'd say skip it unless you want to use both a nice base and primer with it.

Petal Pusher
Petal pusher consists of many shades of lilacs and purples. This is the least pigmented of the palettes and I was little disappointed with it. With the exception of a couple shades, most of these don't even show up on my skin. You will have to use a base with these or use them wet. Personally, I like to be able to use my shadows base-free and feel having to use them wet to get them to show is a hassle. However, these colors are really pretty with a black base.

If you are looking to eliminate one of the three palettes from your list, Petal Pusher would be the one I'd skip. The must have of the group is Comfort Zone and Blue Had Me At Hello is nice to have, but not a must unless you are dying for a lovely teal shade because that shade is quite gorgeous.
