Did anyone else love Amy Adams' natural, yet movie star glow makeup at the 68th annual Golden Globes? I have the low-down from her makeup artist, Molly Stern, on which products she used.
Amy wanted a look that was stream-line and defined, but still showed her naturally beautiful face. Molly took that paired with inspiration from Adams' gown and created her beautiful, natural makeup.
She first used YSL Perfect Touch Brush Foundation to even out her skin tone and then applied Giorgio Armani Sheer Blush #2/Pink to help give her a natural semi-flushed look.
The beautiful, natural eyeshadow she used is Lancome Color Design 5 Plan Palette in the shade Taupe Craze. Then, to help make Amy's eyes pop, she lined them with Lancome Le Stylo Waterproof Eyeliner in Minuit and coated her lashes with Lancome Hypnose Custom Volume Mascara in black
For lips, she used Lancome Color Design Matte Lipcolor in the shade Stylista. It's one of those shades that's almost like your natural lip color, but way better. Then she topped it off with L'Absolu Nu in Evening Lace, which hits stores this spring.
Maybelline Dream Smoothe Mousse offers the a moisturizing quality like The YSL Perfect Touch Foundation and also gives the face a glowy finish. For blush try the Stila Custom Color blush. It's a pink toned blush that actually changes color with your skintone for a perfect match and it's half the price of the Armani blush.
Instead of Color Design Taupe Craze, try the Wet N' Wild trio in Walking On Egg Shells. For a smudge-proof black eyeliner, check Loreal Linear Intense Eye Liner in Blackest Black and for the volume enhancing mascara, try the Loreal Voluminous Carbon Black.
For a 'your lip color, but better' type of lipstick, try the new CoverGirl Lip Perfection Lipstick in Heavenly. Top it off with NYX Lip Gloss in Whipped for a shiny finish in a natural color.
